FLUTE TECHNICIAN

Ginnie has always had a fascination for flute mechanics, which brought her to the study of Flute Repair with renowned flute maker, Jonathon Landell . It was at the Landell Workshop in Vermont that she completed two courses in Padding and Mechanical. Next ,under the guidance of David Straubinger at the Straubinger Workshop in Indianapolis, she became a Certified Straubinger Technician . Most recently she worked with Jerry Schurr in PA, a specialist in the Restoration of Historic instruments.
